GOP opening field offices in Cedar Rapids, Coralville
From a Media Release
Jul. 6, 2012 11:17 am
The Republican National Committee and the Republican Party of Iowa will open Victory offices in Coralville and Cedar Rapids July 7 in support of Gov. Mitt Romney and the entire GOP ticket.
John Archer, the Republican nominee for 1st District U.S. House, will be on hand to give remarks in Coralville. Second District U.S. House nominee Ben Lang will speak in Cedar Rapids.
The opening coincides with the Republican National Committee's Super Saturday – a nationwide event where Republicans will make hundreds of thousands of volunteer and voter contacts by knocking on doors and making phone calls.
The 2012 Victory effort will be the largest GOP get-out-the-vote operation in Iowa history. The Victory operation is a joint effort between the RNC, Iowa Republican Party, and Romney for President to elect Republicans up and down the ticket.
