Barring best, good is better than nothing

On a recent weekly call to reporters Rep. Ashley Hinson said, 'The public health measure” (coronavirus relief bill) was 'absolutely what we need right now.” She also liked the part of the bill that would increase much needed unemployment payments.
But she voted against the bill, twice, because it wasn't 'targeted.”
Why let perfect be the enemy of good? In the absence of better or best, good is preferable to nothing, which is what we'd get if the majority of legislators were like Hinson.
They're not in the majority now. I hope they won't be after the midterm elections. I urge people who agree we need better representation to vote in 2022.
