UNI clothing exchange program

Free stuff and trade-ins are always popular with college students.
So, when you want to generate a little buzz among your school's community it seems like a good idea to give them a reason to sport your colors.
The University of Northern Iowa wrestling (and basketball apparently) ran with the concept Thursday. Members of the Panthers' programs offered free t-shirts, shorts and hats to anyone with a shirt from another college/university. Good timing to trade in the Iowa State stuff after UNI's football team won 28-20 last Saturday in Ames.
You can see Panthers wrestling coach Doug Schwab and his assistants, including Randy Pugh, promoting the Panther Train in this video. With UNI's improvement in wrestling last season, those wrestling shirts, shorts and hats might become popular items.
As for me, I'm still keeping my Slipper Rock t-shirt and Buena Vista hat.
