Metro Economic Alliance to move into Science Station
The Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance will soon be moving into a new location leaders say will become a hub of economic activity in Eastern Iowa.
This summer, the Economic Alliance will move into the building that was formerly the home of the Science Station. Renovations on the building, owned by 2001 Development Corp., are presently under way.
Dee Baird, Economic Alliance president & CEO, says when the transformation of the building is complete it will be a “beacon of economic growth” with a design that reflects “a smart, innovative, progressive space.”
