Lindsey, Donelle D.
Donelle D. Lindsey, 30, of Iowa City, died Friday, June 22, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 29, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until services Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Donelle's memory.

Donelle Derrell Lindsey, was born Dec. 7, 1981, in Chicago. Until age 8, he lived in Chicago and attended Crispus Attucks Elementary. At the age of 8, he moved to Iowa City with his family and attended schools in the Iowa City District, graduating from City High School in 2000.
Donelle leaves behind to cherish his memories, his mother, Marvella Lindsey; father, Rodell Harris; stepfather, Vance Dillon who raised Donelle; three brothers, Donald, Donta and Donzell Lindsey; two sisters, Marvella Amber and Teonna; three stepbrothers, Vance Jr., Vershun and Veondre; sister-in-law, Gwen; special nephew, Devon; special grandmother, Patricia; special friend; Shalethia Hollie and a close cousin, Charron; a host of nieces and nephews, aunties, uncles, cousins and friends.
Donelle was a very special person who had love for everyone and was loved by everyone. He loved to party, dance and have a good time. He loved all the kids and will truly be missed.
So for now, we will wipe our tears away and see you again someday.
