Janet Mae Stull, 81, of Belle Plaine, passed away Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Hrabak-Neuhaus Funeral Service in Belle Plaine with Pastor Charles Johnson officiating. Visitation is from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, Belle Plaine. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.hrabakfuneralhome.com.
Janet Mae was born Dec. 7, 1937, to Ben and Lydia (Fisher) Mouchka. She attended rural country school. On Aug. 2, 1954, Janet was united in marriage to James "Jay" Stull at Christ United Methodist Church in Belle Plaine. Together the couple raised their family in Belle Plaine.
Janet's life revolved around her large family. She enjoyed cooking for all of the family gatherings and holidays, and going for a drive, as she and Jay would drive around town to see what their children were up to.
She is survived by her children, Randy Stull of Belle Plaine, Vickie (Don) Parsons of Belle Plaine, Rick (Dee Anna) Stull of Belle Plaine, Tim (Lisa) Stull of Solon, Jay (Dawn) Stull of Belle Plaine and Shane (Stacy) Stull of Belle Plaine; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Pat, Dorothy and Bill; and many more loving family and friends.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Stull (1996); and sister, Jean.
