David Wayne Norman, 78, of Washington, Iowa, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Country Living Retirement Home in North Liberty. Celebration of life services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 19, at the United Methodist Church with Pastor Kwang Song officiating. Calling hours will begin at noon Wednesday at Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will receive friends from
5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington.
Memorials have been established for the United Methodist Church or Iowa City Hospice. Online condolences may be sent for David's family through the web at www.jonesfh.com.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Norman of Washington; daughter, Kristine (Pat) Burns of Oxford; son, Kyle (Kim) Norman of Wellman; son, Houston (Jennifer) Norman of Oskaloosa; son, Dallas (Susi) Norman of Kalona; daughter, Trudy (Kerry) Neff of Des Moines; son, Wayne (Amy) Norman of Iowa City; 11 grandchildren, Kaitlin Kaalberg, Austin and Emilee Norman, Paige and Hope Norman, Sophia and Lola Norman, Jackson, Chloe and Nora Neff, and Sage Norman; and one great-grandson, Tate Tappan. He is also survived by one niece, Pam Green; and one nephew, Steve (Sue) Norman.
