Many thanks to Dana Jones for bringing to light the true data regarding Iowa's pandemic status. Without her diligence, the alternate facts put out by Gov. Kim Reynolds and her staff would likely have remained and the new COVID-19 cases and deaths would continue to puzzle all of us.
Thanks also to Lyz Lenz of The Gazette for getting that data out to us. According to true data, Iowa recently surged to number one in the United States for COVID-19 cases per capita. I highly recommend her article in the Aug. 30 Gazette.
' Iowa was reporting false COVID-19 information for months, until this nurse blew the whistle
We need to act on this new information now, so I sincerely ask all Iowans to do their part in this pandemic. Please wear masks, social distance and wash your hands frequently so we can save lives, make it safer for our kids to go back to school and keep businesses open.
