Jean was an avid crafter who enjoyed knitting, crocheting, needlepoint and painting. She was a unique soul, and enjoyed laughing, dancing and traveling. She was reunited with a schoolmate, Donald Palmer, and they enjoyed 18 years together traveling and flying in his private plane.
She will be greatly missed by Betty Emanuel, her best friend of 65 years, along with Betty's daughters, Penny Rowland, Annie (Jim) Volz, Linda Hollingsworth and Bobbie (Harlan) Van Vark. She is survived by a niece, Phyllis (Robert) Ritscher; a cousin, Judy Irish; and nieces and nephews, Lynn (Sam) Montague, Mary (Dick) Schlotterback, Priscilla (Michael) Dolan, Bill (Nancy) Montague, Dora (Ben) Brecht, Jay (Kim) Montague and Nina (Irv) Spersflage.
In addition to her parents, husband and Don, Jean was preceded in death by a sister, Vida Schantz.
