RUBY PHELPS
Springfield, Mo.
Ruby Fern Phelps, of Springfield, Mo., was born Feb. 3, 1925, to Robert and Sarah Blankenship in Smithville, Mo., and passed away on Jan. 5, 2014.
Ruby was united in marriage to Dorn Nathan Phelps.
She is lovingly survived by one son, Roger (Kathie) Phelps of Cedar Rapids; two daughters, Sandy (Bob) Richardson of Portland Ore., and Pam (Doug) Thompson of Highlandville, Mo.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four sisters.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dorn; one grandchild; two brothers; and three sisters.
Visitation and funeral were held Jan. 10, 2014, at the Walnut Lawn Funeral Home Chapel, Springfield, Mo. Private burial was at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, on Jan 14, 2014.
