Schaupp, Bradley W.
Bradley W. Schaupp, 86, of Hiawatha, formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. Private graveside services will be held at Oakland Cemetery in Fort Dodge. The Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family.
Survivors include his brother, John M. Schaupp of Okoboji; stepdaughter, Janie (Jerry) Powers of Cedar Rapids; stepgranddaughter, Christine Powers; nieces, Nannette and Karen Schaupp; and nephew, Scott Shaupp.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Hazel (Woods) Schaupp; wife, JoAnn; and stepson, Sandy White.
Bradley Woods Schaupp was born on April 28, 1926, in Fort Dodge. He attended schools there and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. Bradley then went out to Los Angeles, Calif., where he attended the Fred Archer School of Photography. He married Marilyn Trumbower and the couple were later divorced. In 1958, Bradley was united in marriage to JoAnn White. He owned and operated S & S Photography in Vermillion, S.D., before moving to Cedar Rapids, where he worked for Collins Radio (later Rockwell Collins), until his retirement.
