Ray Menuis, 55, of Springville, passed away suddenly Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, at his home. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion. Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, at the funeral home officiated by the Rev. Richard Denniston. Burial: Springville Cemetery, Springville.
Ray is survived by his father, John Menuis of Springville; and his mother, Hazel (David) Countryman of Monticello.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Duaine and Tim.
Ray was born May 12, 1962, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the son of John and Hazel (Denniston) Menuis. He owned Excel Painting Co. in Springville. Ray took great pride in his painting and providing quality service to his many customers. He also was a huge fan of the NBA.
