Michael J. Powers, 50, of Iowa City, died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
A time celebrating Michael's life will be held Saturday, Oct. 22, from 4 to 6 p.m., concluding with a time of sharing from family and friends at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service.
Instead of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Michael's memory.
