HAZEL CHRISTINE LISTON
Omaha, Neb.
Hazel Christine Liston, born Feb. 2, 2016, in Omaha, Neb., the morning of the biggest blizzard of the year, passed away March 4, 2016. Services were March 7 at Reichmuth Funeral Home in Elkhorn, Neb.
She was adored and is survived by her parents, Chris and Crickett (Coons) Liston, and brother, Evan, all of Omaha; her grandparents, Randy and Julia Coons of Marion, Iowa, and Dale and Jan Liston of Fremont, Neb.; great-grandparents, Boyd Carlton and Roger and Marilyn Messler and adopted Phyllis Ritchie; and aunts, uncles and cousins, Wendy Liston and her children, Tyler, Nolan and Kali Thomsen; Tina and Terry Jones and their children, Curtis and Mick; Chad and Teresa Coons and their children, Austin and Beau; and Paula and Jayson Attwood and their children, Annabelle and Mayson.
She was preceded in death by great-uncle, Blair Harbaugh; great-uncle, Allen Liston; great-uncle, Scott Harry; great-grandparents, Lloyd "Shorty" and Lillian Liston, Mary and Austin Coons and Janis Carlton.
Hazel Christine was full of smiles from the moment she was born and filling mommy and daddy's hearts with pure joy. Hazel enjoyed holding her head high from birth, milk and being held tight by all those who loved her the most. She looked just like her daddy and was extremely expressive like her mommy. She had the proudest big brother, "Big Bruda Evan," who could not wait for her arrival. Evan loved holding Hazel and helping mommy and daddy take care of her.
She had the most amazing impact on everyone she encountered for the short time she was here. She gave life to another baby with a donor donation. She was destined to move mountains.
Memorials may be made to the family for later designation.
The family would like to thank Chaplain Scott Jensen for his kindness and the wonderful service he gave. We also want to thank Jess Denton from Kazoo Photography for all her help getting us the slide show and pictures for the service and our precious memories. We want to express our gratitude to Hazel's aunts and uncles for all they did.
