RoughRIders lose a 2-1 toughie at Green Bay

GREEN BAY, Wis. - Connor Hurley scored six minutes into the third period for the difference in a 2-1 Green Bay Gamblers win over the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders on New Year's Eve night.
Hurley, a second-round draft pick of the Buffalo Sabres in 2013, scored four minutes after Andrew Oglevie tied the game for Cedar Rapids with an unassisted goal. It was Oglevie's fifth goal of the season.
Green Bay took the initial lead in the second period on a goal from Sebastian Weberg.
Jared Rutledge outdueled Danny Tirone for the goaltending victory. Both guys made 26 saves.
The RoughRiders (14-10-1, 29 points) plays Friday and Saturday nights at Indiana.
