C.R. RoughRiders make trade with Sioux Falls

CEDAR RAPIDS — The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders continued to make over their roster Monday, trading forwards Nick Bowman and Will Garin to the Sioux Falls Stampede, it was announced.

Cedar Rapids gets forwards Austin Martinsen and Steven Agriogianis in return. Agriogianis was on Sioux Falls' affiliate roster.

Bowman had one goal in six games for Cedar Rapids, while Garin was scoreless in six. They were two of five players head coach/general manager Mark Carlson suspended indefinitely last week for a violation of team rules.

Carlson previously acquired three players in separate trades and added 16-year-old goaltender Drew DeRidder from the affiliate list. The RoughRiders are off to the worst start in their history at 0-8-1.
