RoughRiders’ Blacker earns weekly USHL honor

CEDAR RAPIDS - Ben Blacker of the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders has been named United States Hockey League CCM Goaltender of the Week, the league announced Monday.
Blacker went 2-0 in a pair of games this past weekend, posting a 1.50 goals against average and .951 save percentage. He has started 21 of his club's last 24 games and won four consecutive starts.
The Oakville, Ontario, resident ranks second in the USHL in victories (17), is fourth in save percentage (.921) and sixth in goals against average (2.43). He has played the second-most minutes of any goalie in the league.
The USHL's Forward of the Week is Clayton Keller of Team USA. The Defenseman of the Week is Connor Moore of the Youngstown Phantoms.
