Riders see 5-game win streak snapped by Madison
MADISON, Wis. - The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders had their five-game win streak snapped Sunday afternoon by the Madison Captiols, 4-2.
Goals by defensemen Jack Ahcan and Mitch Reinke put Cedar Rapids up, 2-1, midway through the second period. But Madison got the game's final three goals, including a go-ahead one by Tyson McLellan on a penalty shot late in the second.
Zack LaRocque took the loss in net for the Riders (22-9-3, 47 standings points). Cedar Rapids plays Friday night at home against Muskegon.
