RoughRiders lose in OT at Muskegon
MUSKEGON, Mich. - Collin Adams scored 1:02 into overtime to lift the Muskegon Lumberjacks past the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, 5-4, Friday night.
Defenseman Mitch Eliot's power-play goal with 1:56 left tied the game for Muskegon. Hugh McGing's third goal of the game had given Cedar Rapids a 4-3 lead through two periods.
The teams play again Saturday night.
Muskegon had a 3-1 edge early in the second period, but McGing and Zach Robbins scored goals on the power play to tie things. Ben Blacker took the loss in net.
