Cedar Rapids RoughRiders take all 3 weekly United States Hockey League honors
CEDAR RAPIDS — It was a clean sweep for the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders when it came to United States Hockey League weekly honors.
Ben Blacker was named USHL Goaltender of the Week, Jack Ahcan Defenseman of the Week, and forward Ross Colton Forward of the Week, the league announced Monday.
Blacker went 3-0 last week, allowing just two goals. He has a USHL-leading 29 victories this season.
Ahcan had two goals and an assist in two wins over Team USA and one over Muskegon. He leads league defenseman with 37 points, on 12 goals and 25 points.
Colton had two goals and three assists. He leads the RoughRiders and is second in the USHL with 28 goals.
