Tina Lynn Davis, 60, of Marion, died Sunday, July 5, 2015. Funeral service: 1 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion, by the Rev. Keith Nester. Visitation: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial: Wyoming Cemetery, Wyoming, Iowa.
Survivors include her son, John Davis of Queen Creek, Ariz.; her mother, Winifred (Curtis) Cope of Springville; her siblings, Sue Paulsen of North Liberty, Jeff (Dawn) Paulsen of Garner, N.C., Dana (Carter) LeBeau of Marion and Kim Nicholls of Marion; and nieces and nephews, Joseph, Sam, Brandon, Dana, Lauren, Colin, Ian, Devin, Avery, Aden and Asher.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Paulsen; her husband, Richard "Rick" Davis; her brother-in-law, Michael Nicholls; her niece, Jody Vance; and nephew, Bret LeBeau.
Tina was born Sept. 23, 1954, in Landstuhl, Germany, to John Emil and Winifred Evelyn (DeWees) Paulsen. She graduated from Monticello High School in 1973. Tina attended the University of Northern Iowa and majored in education. She married Richard Davis. Tina worked as a rental car agent at The Eastern Iowa Airport and later at the Phoenix airport. She also worked at an outdoor nursery doing sales in Tempe, Ariz. She spent the majority of her life living in Arizona. Tina was very active in 4-H and was a member of the Scotch Grove Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed music and was the "master of puzzles." Tina loved the outdoors, being surrounded by nature and soaking up the sun. She loved spending time with her son and her nieces and nephews.
