Robert Konigsmark, 54, of Lincoln, Neb., passed away Friday, July 24, 2015.
Robert was born March 25, 1961, to Robert F. Konigsmark and Barbara Norton at Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was a graduate of Benton Community High School and Kirkwood Community College. He was united in marriage to Robin Carr on May 16, 1987. Robert was owner and operator of Accent Landscapes. He was a member of the Nebraska Nursery & Landscape Association, SouthPointe Christian Church and was a member of the pit crew for Sprint Car No 71.
Survivors include his wife, Robin Konigsmark; children, Sydney Konigsmark and Broc Konigsmark; mother, Barbara (Terry) Norton; father, Robert (Connie) Konigsmark; brothers, Ritch (Denise) Konigsmark and Dave (Kristen) Konigsmark; sisters, Candi (Jodie) Benesh and Crista Konigsmark; six stepbrothers and sisters; as well as sisters-in-law, Wanda Carr, Nancy Seybert, Shirley Groff, Sharon (Danny) Jewell, Sandra Brubeck, Juanita (Andy) Love and Helen Carr; and a brother-in-law, Joe (IvaDell) Carr. He was also a favorite uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Mike and Irene Carr; and brothers-in-law, Richard Carr and Jack Carr.
A Celebration of Robert's Life will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, at SouthPointe Christian Church, 7010 Helen Witt Dr., Lincoln, Neb. Interment will follow at Cheney Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th St., Lincon.
