Joan Marie Kepler, 58, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, March 7, 2016, at St. Luke's Hospital. Services will be private. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her son, Joshua (Tereni) Kepler of Marengo; her grandchildren, Connor Gehring of Marengo, Sidney Kepler of Cedar Rapids and Nolan Kepler of Marengo; her siblings, Joel (Sheri) Norton of Cedar Rapids and Jerel (Lisa) Norton of St. Paul, Minn.; and her companion, Dave.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Floyd Kepler.
Joan was born April 25, 1957, in Grinnell, Iowa, the daughter of Marvin and Ruth (Glandorf) Norton. She married Floyd Norton. Joan was a 1975 graduate of Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids. She worked for Colony Restaurant in Amana and at Kmart. She enjoyed reading.
