Jean Ellen Vandivier, 64, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Friday, Feb. 3, 2017, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, at Cedar Hills Community Church in Cedar Rapids with Pastor Kent Landhuis officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, at the church and will continue one hour before the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cedar Hills Community Church.

Jean was born Nov. 1, 1952, to Albert and Ruth (Oehlerich) Beck in Belle Plaine, Iowa. She married James Vandivier on July 13, 1969, in Belle Plaine. Jean worked for Linn County for 20 years.
Jean enjoyed gardening, crocheting and spending time with family and extended family at Cedar Hills Community Church.
She is survived by her husband, James; father, Albert Beck; children, Shawn Vandivier and Trudi (Dave) Kesterson; grandchildren, James (Erin) Vandivier, Riley (Matt) Peak, Caleb and Haley Kesterson, Andrew Rodgers and A'alyiah Watkins; and siblings, Susan Beck Farrens and Gary (Ruth Lynn) Beck.
Jean was preceded in death by her mother; brother, Albert "Pogo" Beck; and sister, Barbara Beck.
