IZOD IndyCar Series race in China canceled

IZOD IndyCar Series announced that the Aug. 19 race to be held in China has been canceled. Officials said the series will try to find a replacement, keeping the schedule at 16 races.
Does this mean Iowa Speedway could vie for a second IndyCar race? Rumors flew last year that the track was interested before it announced the addition of a second NASCAR Camping World Trucks Series event set for September. It could be doubtful the Newton track would receive the chance for two IndyCar races, but one can speculate.
Iowa Speedway will host the IZOD IndyCar Series Iowa Corn Indy 250 on June 22-23.
