Larimer, Carol Ann
Carol Ann Larimer, 56, died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at her home following a sudden illness. Private family services will be held at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello, with interment in the Oakwood Cemetery, Monticello. The Rev. Al Polito will officiate at the services.

Carol Ann Larimer was born Oct. 22, 1957, at Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was the daughter of Mildred Tucker and Robert Larimer. The family lived in Cedar Rapids until 1961 when they moved to Monticello. The family moved to Reno, Nev., in 1984. Following her father's death in 1989, Carol Ann and her mother, Mildred, returned to Monticello, where they built a new home. Her mother, Mildred devoted her life to the love and care of her special needs daughter, Carol Ann. Advancement Services provided staff for Carol Ann and Mildred until Mildred's death.
Carol Ann is survived by her Group Home Family and Advancement Services Family; and her long time friend and guardian, Donna Pasker Cowen, who converted the Larimer home into a group home operated by Advancement Services following Mildred's death.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Susan; and brother-in-law, Craig Taylor.
