Cedar Rapids schools announce additional snow make-up day

The Cedar Rapids Community School District has confirmed make-up days for the four weather-related school cancellation days so far this school year.

•    The weather-related school cancellation on Tuesday, December 8, will be made up on Thursday March 4, 2010.

•    The weather-related school cancellation on Wednesday, December 9, will be made up Monday, June 7, 2010.

•    The weather-related school cancellation on Thursday, December 10, will be made up on Tuesday, June 8, 2010.

•    The weather-related school cancellation on Wednesday, December 20, will be made up on Wednesday, June 9, 2010.

All the dates were established as make-up dates on the 2009-10 calendar.

The final day of classes for students (whatever date that ends up being) will be an early dismissal day.
