First-day Cedar Rapids school enrollment up from last year
First-day enrollment in the Cedar Rapids Community School District was 68 students higher than on opening day in 2008, district officials said today.
According to information taken directly from the District's PowerSchool student data system, a total of 17,030 students, from alternative kindergarten through 12th grade, were in attendance Tuesday for the district's first day of classes.
The certified enrollment count will be taken from the student data system on Oct. 1 and verified for state reporting.
