Sand would be experienced state auditor

A watchdog that only starts barking after thieves have robbed you and gotten away? That's no watchdog at all, yet that's the type of behavior Mary Mosiman has exhibited as state auditor. Under her watch the head of the Iowa Communications Network, Ric Lumbard, got away with misspending $380,000 in taxpayer funds. Mosiman sat on the ICN board while Lumbard did so and reportedly asked only three questions in four years of meetings, never auditing the organization in that time.

Instead, consider supporting Rob Sand for state auditor, a proven watchdog whose experience prosecuting Iowa Lottery scam artist Eddie Tipton is badly needed in an office that performs financial audits and investigates suspected embezzlement.
