Top-ranked Telford leads 10 Hawkeyes in AWN poll

The University of Iowa is represented at every weight class in the latest Amateur Wrestling News NCAA Division I rankings.
AWN released the newest set of rankings Tuesday with 10 Hawkeyes listed, including top-ranked heavyweight Bobby Telford and second-ranked Mike Evans at 174. Iowa State has six wrestlers ranked, while University of Northern Iowa has three.
Iowa's Thomas Gilman (125), freshman Brandon Sorensen at 149 and 197-pounder Nathan Burak are all ranked fourth.
All-American Cory Clark (133) and 184-pounder Sammy Brooks are ranked eighth, Josh Dziewa is 10th at 141 and Mike Kelly and Nick Moore are 12th at 157 and 165, respectively for the Hawkeyes.
The Cyclones two-time All-Americans Kyven Gadson and Mike Moreno lead the way. Gadson is third at 197 and Moreno is sixth at 165. Earl Hall Jr. is ninth at 133. Gabe Moreno (11th at 149), Tanner Weatherman (13th at 174) and Lelund Weatherspoon (18th at 184) are ranked for Iowa State.
UNI's Dylan Peters (149) is sixth. The Panthers Cooper Moore at 165 and heavyweight Blaize Cabell are both ranked 10th for the Panthers.
