Full service park season begins Saturday in Cedar Rapids

The full service park season begins Saturday, April 21, 2012. Restrooms, drinking fountains, rental of open-air pavilions, and general day-to-day operating conveniences will be available through October 14, 2012.
The Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation Department rents 21 pavilions in the city parks for picnics, reunions, and other gatherings. To rent a park pavilion, call the Ambroz Recreation Center, 286-5731, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. or go to
www.crrec.org for more information about available pavilions.
