TV disposal in Cedar Rapids

Cedar Rapids' residents have several options for disposing of their old TVs and electronics. The Cedar Rapids/Linn County Solid Waste Agency accepts TVs and electronics from all Linn County residents free of charge. The Cedar Rapids/Linn County Solid Waste Agency has two locations; both accept TVs and electronics:
- 2250 A Street SW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa (near Czech Village)
Open Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm during the winter
- 1954 County Home Rd., Marion, Iowa
Open Monday-Saturday 7:00am-4:30pm
If customers are unable to transport their electronics to the Agency, the Cedar Rapids Solid Waste & Recycling Division can collect the items at the Curb. TVs and electronics cannot be placed in the CURBY cart. Cedar Rapids Solid Waste & Recycling customers can call (319) 286-5897 to schedule a TV or electronics collection. There is a $15.00 hauling fee to pick up items at your garbage collection point.
