Iowa hoops to hold tryouts

The Iowa men's basketball team will be holding an open tryout for those interested in joining the 2011-12 team as a walk-on.

In order to be eligible to participate in the tryout, each individual must satisfy the following requirements before Thursday, Oct. 27:

1. Be a full-time student (12 credit hours) at the University of Iowa

2. Must have passed a physical in the last six months
