McNeil, M. Corinne
M. Corinne McNeil, 93, of Postville, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at Stoney Brook Village, West Union, following a brief illness. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bridget's Catholic Church, Postville. The Very Rev. Richard Gaul will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Clermont. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Schutte-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Postville, with a parish rosary at 4 p.m., and one hour before mass at the church on Wednesday.
Survivors include her three children, Kathleen Meyer of Spillville, Virginia (Ed) Barnes of Cedar Rapids, and Thomas (Susan) McNeil of Mesa, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren, Fabian Macken Jr., Erin (Jerry) Thiel, Carolyn (Kevin) Hemesath, Deborah (Doug) Thorsen, Christine (Lee) Woodson, Thomas Barnes (fiancee Kim Bragington), Brian Barnes, Jennifer Barnes (fiance Timothy Richards), Mary McNeil, Katie McNeil and Ryan McNeil; and four great-grandchildren.
Corinne was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Eva (Tenney) Conboy; her siblings; her husband, Joseph McNeil; one daughter, Mary Jo Macken; and one great-granddaughter.
