How America is predicting the Illinois-Iowa game

Nov. 14, 2014 4:26 pm, Updated: Nov. 15, 2014 9:51 am
When I look for picks of these games, there are some old reliables.
They're the people who pick all Big Ten games every week, the ESPN.com Big Ten guys, the Big Ten Network people.
But when you're ranked or you're playing a ranked team, all sorts of people pick your games. That hasn't happened with Iowa games this season. It hasn't been ranked, it hasn't played a ranked outfit. That changes next week. Finally.
By the way, no one anywhere on Planet Earth had a prediction for last week's Iowa-Minnesota game that resembled the final score of Gophers 51, Hawkeyes 14.
