Uptown Getdown in Marion this Thursday

Marion's live music concert series in City Square Park features the band 8 Seconds (country) and food vendor Carlos O' Kelly's this Thursday, August 9 from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. The Uptown Getdown schedule for this year also includes performances on Thursday, August 16 and 23.

Various food vendors will be featured each week at Uptown Getdown serving food starting at 6:00 p.m. with music beginning at 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Admission is free. Uptown Getdown is sponsored by the Marion Chamber Platinum Community Partners – Farmers State Bank, Fosters Heating and Air Conditioning, Philip's Diamond Shop & Design Center and St. Luke's Hospital, produced by the Marion Chamber of Commerce and supported by the City of Marion.
