A failed upgrade to the PowerSchool program temporarily shut down the system for the Cedar Rapids school district this week.
It was the only district affected by the failed upgrade. The program was down for two days.
The Grant Wood Area Education Agency worked with Pearson Engineering to correct the problem, which was fixed by 3 p.m. Tuesday.
“To our knowledge, there's been no data lost,” said Bob Neilly, Grant Wood AEA computer consultant.
The Cedar Rapids school district deferred questions to Grant Wood AEA.
