Mar. 9, 2016 9:34 am
Two Eastern Iowa economic development groups delivered a message to the Iowa Capitol this morning.
The Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance and the Iowa City Area Chamber of Commerce joined forces for the annual promotion of the Corridor at the Statehouse, where community business leaders and both organizations advocate for the Creative Corridor's public policy priorities. This year, the focus was on workforce challenges, education and economic development incentives.
In addition to serving up 55 dozen kolaches, the organizations also planned to served lunch sponsored by the Bread Garden in Iowa City.
