Iowans in Minor League Baseball: Joel Booker adjusting to Triple-A

Jake Adams (Iowa): First baseman is 7-for-13 in his last four games, raising his season batting average to .308 in 29 games for high-Class A Fayetteville (Astros). Has five home runs and 26 RBIs.
Nick Allgeyer (Iowa): Left-handed starting pitcher is 3-3 with a 2.13 earned run average in seven starts for high-A Dunedin (Blue Jays). Has 35 strikeouts in 38 innings and a very fine WHIP of 0.89: 29 hits and five walks.
Joel Booker (Iowa): Outfielder continues adjustment to Triple-A, as he has hits in his last three games to move his batting average to .200 in nine games for Charlotte. Promoted from Double-A Birmingham recently, where he hit .351 in 20 games.
Tyler Cropley (Iowa): Assigned back to low-A Hagerstown (Nationals) last week. Has played in four games and is 4-for-11, including back-to-back 2-for-3, one RBI games a week apart.
C.J. Eldred (Mount Vernon/Iowa): Has pitched in six games for low-A Lexington (Royals). Has no record and a 6.30 ERA, with 11 strikeouts in 10 innings.
Nick Gallagher (Iowa City West/Iowa): A rough outing this past week for high-A Lynchburg (Indians), in which he gave up five earned runs in 2 2/3 innings. Is 1-0 with a save and 4.26 ERA in seven games, four starts, for the Hillcats. Has allowed just 17 hits in 25 1/3 innings and has 34 strikeouts.
Korry Howell (Kirkwood CC): Shortstop is 4-for-18 in six games since being sent to low-A Wisconsin (Brewers). Has driven in three.
Mitch Keller (Cedar Rapids Xavier): Pitcher allowed three runs in three innings in his lone start last week for Triple-A Indianapolis (Pirates). Is 3-0 with a 3.97 ERA in seven starts, with 42 strikeouts in 34 innings.
Mason McCoy (Iowa): A .379 batting average the first month of the season will get you promoted, and it did in this case. The shortstop moved from high-A Frederick to Double-A Bowie (Orioles), where he has just kept hitting, to the tune of 10-for-17 in his first four games, including a home run and three RBIs.
Robert Neustrom (Iowa): Outfielder has hits in seven of his last eight games at low-A Delmarva (Orioles). Has .329 average in 19 games, with three homers and 14 RBIs.
Tyler Peyton (Iowa): Pitcher is 0-1 with a 6.38 ERA in 10 relief appearances for high-A Myrtle Beach (Cubs). Has 17 strikeouts in 18 1/3 innings.
Colin Rea (Cascade): Just keeps doing his thing as a member of the Triple-A Iowa (Cubs) starting rotation. Is 3-0 with a 2.97 ERA in six starts and has allowed just 30 hits in 33 1/3 innings.
Nick Roscetti (Iowa): Infielder has played in 11 games at high-A Carolina (Brewers) and has a .158 batting average with two RBIs.
Scott Schebler (Cedar Rapids Prairie): Outfielder was demoted by Cincinnati Reds to Triple-A Louisville after hitting .123 in 30 games. Has played in five games for the Bats and is 3-for-19 with a pair or runs batted in.
Keaton Winn (Pekin): In seven games for low-A Augusta (Giants), the former Iowa Western Community College pitcher is 1-2 with a 3.86 ERA.
