Hope "Deborah" Lauthen, 64, of Iowa City, passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 30, 2021.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 9, from noon to 1 p.m. at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service in Iowa City. Services will begin at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Iowa City. Social distancing guidelines are in place and masks are required – thank you for your compliance. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Deb's name. For those unable to attend, the service for Deb will be available on Zoom. On the Lensing website, go to Deb's obituary page and click on the Tribute Wall.
Survivors include her sons, Brian Lauthen of Champaign, Ill., and Shane Lauthen (Sara) and their children, Mya, Aria and Nolan, all of Cottage Grove, Minn.; her mother, Betty Lentz of Iowa City; sister, Faith "Becky" King (Terry) of Ainsworth, Iowa; and brother David Lentz (Linda) of Omaha, Neb.
