UI’s business school should look in-house

I am no expert, but I am of the opinion that a ' business ' school would not need to hire a consultant for marketing assistance and research.
There are professors of business, teaching assistants and talented students. And what is the purpose of a business school but to teach marketing, research, business strategies and problem solving?
It seems to be a slap in the face to taxpayers who will probably end up paying for an outside consultant. There seems to be a trend in higher education and local government to use the service of consultants, especially here in Cedar Rapids.
