UNI hoops adds Kirkwood’s Miles Wentzien as walk-on

CEDAR FALLS — The University of Northern Iowa men's basketball team has added Kirkwood Community College all-American Miles Wentzien to its roster as a walk-on.
Wentzien, a 6-foot-3 guard, averaged 14.8 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game this past season for the Eagles. The Fort Madison native was named a first-team Division II junior college all-American.
He began his college career at Missouri Western. Wentzien will join former Kirkwood guard Hunter Rhodes on the 2017-18 UNI team.
