Pints & Politics is a gathering of those who have appreciation for the various pieces of national and local politics, and their effect on Iowans. From hot-button issues to ongoing policies and complex scenarios, this event is designed to get various perspectives on the table for good conversation and, at times, a little entertainment.

May’s guest panelist: Brianne Pfannenstiel. She is an award-winning journalist and the chief politics reporter for the Des Moines Register where she covers local and state politics as well as the chaos surrounding presidential nominations during the Iowa caucuses. She was a co-moderator of the 2020 presidential debate in Des Moines and is a frequent guest on television and radio to discuss her work, including on CNN, MSNBC, C-SPAN and NPR. She loves good IPAs, good dogs and The New York Times crossword puzzle.
