Republicans are pursuing the wrong priorities

As 'regular” Iowans are dealing with COVID-19 (sickness and death), loss of a job and small businesses closing there doors, Republican leaders in the Iowa Legislature are working on a death penalty bill, a bill to allow guns in schools and day care centers, and will fill their 'extra time” taking money from public schools for vouchers.
Wake up Republican leaders. Deal with Iowans' problems, not you personal hot-button issue. Look outside at hurting Iowans. It is also 'interesting” that they won't wear masks so many Iowans fear going to the Capitol to lobby. Good job pushing your personal issues while keeping the public away.
