Osterberg wins 3 gold medals for Somersaults

Natalie Osterberg of Somersaults Gymnastics won three events last weekend at the Flip for Food Invitational hosted by the Iowa GymNest in Coralville.
Osterberg won the vault, uneven bars and all around in Xcel Silver. Annie Haars (vault, balance beam) was a double winner in the same category, and Baylee Gabrielson (beam, floor exercise) and Logan Kalous (vault, all around) won two events in Xcel Gold. Mia Frame took first place on floor for level 3.
Other Somersault winners were Sophia Bunch (vault), Maya Shelangoski (bars) and Isabelle Howsare, all in Xcel Gold.
Placing in the top three were Bailey Hakert in Silver, Ava Blue, Ava Christensen and Grace Prull in Gold, Bailey Davis in Platinum, Paisley Joens in Level 3, and Addilyn Wade in Level 4.
At the Candy Cotton Invitational in Bloomington, Minn., Emily Henderson placed in two events in Level 4.
15 FROM MOSERS WIN USTA TITLES
ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - Fifteen members of the Moser School of Dance and Gymnastic won gold at a USTA Power Tumbling meet here earlier this month.
Twenty-seven teams competed with more than 535 athletes.
Moser winners were Carter Phillips, Gabrielle Guilford, Libby Knipper, Hannabelle Erickson, Taylor Mullis, Karsyn Nichol, Kennedi Bevans, Claire Cahalan, Whitney Long, Elyse Konrardy, Chloe Bennett, Tucker Erickson, Madison O'Hea, Gracie Hillebrand and Laura Pierschbacher.
Carley Hillebrand placed second, along with Brian Kammiller, Alaina Mead, Lilee Boriskey, Starrlynn Brockob, Kristina Kammiller, Amy Morris, Paul Morris, Lilly Shaw and Ava Oberbroeckling. Third-place finishers were Reagan Brown, Kate Green, Isabel Lutgen, Kaydence Ahart, Alexis Ries, Kyle Peck, Myra Peyton, Memphis Peyton, Elizabeth Recker and Addison Norton.
KIESEY, BURKHART SHINE FOR CRAG
Megan Kiesey of the Cedar Rapids Association of Gymnastics won four events at the Harvest Hoedown recently and Maya Burkhart took home three golds from the Flip of Food Invitational.
Both in Level 3, Kiesey won the bars, beam, floor exercise and all around earlier this month while Burkhart won the bars, beam and all around last weekend.
Other CRAG winners at the Flip of Food meet were Chloe Carney (floor) in Level 3, Grace Sherman (bars) and Kiesey (floor) in Level 4, and Shea Johnson (vault) in Level 5. Placewinners were Shayla Comstock in Level 3, Aniyah Lederle, Mackenzie Avery, Asia Russell and Kennedy Ward in Level 4, and Autum Poston, Anna Weave rand Jaeden Humphries in Level 5.
Hannah Neudigate (beam, all around) won two events at the Harvest Hoedown in Level 3, and Lexie Goldsmith (vault, all around) won two in Level 5.
Other CRAG winners were Burkhart (floor) in Level 3, Russell (bars) in Level 4 and Allison Hayes (beam) and Jaeden Humphries (bars) in Level 5. Placewinenrs were Carney in Level 3, Sherman, Lederle, Avery, Lanie Wood, Ward and Bethany Young in Level 4, and Poston in Level 5.
