SOMERSAULTS GYMNASTS SHINE AT 2 EVENTS

Laura Swart of the Somersaults Gymnastics Center won events at the Judge's Cup in North Liberty and the Twistin' to the Top in Cedar Rapids.

Swart won the floor exercise, and all-around at the Twistin' meet and the balance beam at the Judge's Cup.

Other Somersaults winners a the Cedar Rapids event were Emily Henderson (uneven bars) and Ellie Jones (uneven bars)

Lindsey Weig won the vault and Ashley Lappin the bars at the Judge's Cup.

TWISTERS' KLESNER, HUNGATE WIN 3 EVENTS EACH

CEDAR RAPIDS - Kelsey Klesner and Loren Hungate both won three events for the Twisters Gymnastics team at their own Twistin' to the Top Invitational.

Klesner won the bars, beam and all around and Hungate captured the vault, floor exercise and all around.

Ava Gunsolly (bars, beam), Ava VanBerkum (beam, all around) and Amera Nakurutimana (bars, all around) were double winners.

Other Twisters winners were Sydney Huber (floor), Shandin Gilbert (vault), Katelyn Mackey (vault), Payton Basquin {beam), McKenna Haugen (vault), Lacey Neighbor (bars), Sophia Barbieri (bars) and Elyssa MacCormick (floor).

KIESEY WINS 9 TITLES IN 2 MEETS

Megan Kiesey of the Cedar Rapids Association of Gymnastics won nine events at the Twistin' to the Top and Judge's Cup events.

Kiesey won five titles at the Twistin' meet - vault, bars, beam, floor exercise and all around - and captured the vault, bars, floor and all around at the Judge's Cup.

CRAG's Anna Weaver (beam, floor, all around) and Lexi Goldsmith (vault, bars and all around) were triple winners at the Twistin' meet and Kylie Henry (vault, floor, all around) and Hailey Hakes (bars, beam and all around) won three events each at the Judge's Cup. Henry also won the floor at the Twistin' meet and Hakes captured the beam.

Lilian Liu (bars, beam), Allison Hayes (bars, beam) and Sidney Davidson (vault, beam) won a pair of events at the Judge's Cup. Liu also won the all around and Davidson the floor at the Twistin' meet.

Other CRAG winners at the Twistin' to the Top meet were Asia Russell (vault), Jaeden Humphries (beam), Ava Andrews (bars) and Emma Kesley (floor) at the Twistin' meet, and Mackenzie Avery (beam), Madily Tumilty (beam), Autumn Poston (floor), Maanasa Chinnakonda (vault) and Grace Walker (floor) at the Judge's Cup.
