18 from Mosers School of Dance and Gymnastics win state gold

Eighteen members of the Moser School of Dance and Gymnastic won gold at the 2017 Iowa USTA Power Tumbling State Championships.
There were 29 clubs and more than 700 athletes competing.
Moser finished second in the team race.
Moser's 18 overall state champions were Gertrude Wall, Alivia Sweeney, Amiya Birkel, Sophia Geistkemper, Gabrielle Guilford, Logan Bevans, Rachel Everman, Adysen Frieden, Keely Recker, Alaina Mead, Kylie Belinsky, Elyse Konrardy, Tenley Bormann, Hannah Seevell, Kalyssa Reimer, Aaliyah Rosenthal, Paul Morris and Adalyn Fette.
Frieden, Seevell and Rosenthal were high point winners in their levels.
First-place flight finishers were Wall, Ella Schindler, Birkel, Sweeney, Guilford, Isabel Lutgen, Geistkemper, Bevans, Claire Hillebrand, Rachel Everman, Frieden, Taylor Mullis, Madeline Martin, Recker, Kennedi Bevans, Claire Cahalan, Alaina Mead, Natalie Besler, Kylie Belinsky, Brynn Burlage, Bormann, Elyse Konrardy, Ella Oberbreckling, Seevell, Ava Oberbroeckling, Ella Recker, Grace Hillebrand, Reimer, Porris, Rosenthal, Laura Pierschbacher, Lainey Payne and Fette.

AREA TEAMS WIN STATE BOWLING TITLES
DES MOINES - Women's bowling teams from Cedar Rapids and Belle Plaine won titles last month after the conclusion of the USBC Women's Bowling Association State Championships.
The tournament ran from Feb. 17 though May 7.
Meier Studios of Cedar Rapids won the five-women Division 2 title with a scratch score of 2,506, which translated to a handicap score of 3,508 - 20 pins ahead of the second-place team. Team members were Jean Kvach, Shirley Bush, Ginger Brown, Whitney Colton and Tammi Castillo.
The Belle Plaine Stars - Shirley Rieck, Marilyn Martin, Chris Blocker and Amanda Piere - won the four-women Division 2 title with a handicap score of 2,802, which was 55 pins better than second place.
The doubles team of Heather Kearns of Betty Lopata of Cedar Rapids captured the Division 3 title with a score of 1,521 - 30 pins ahead of second place. Kearns rolled a 5-2 scratch series, Lopata a 404.
There were 518 teams in the tournament.
WILKINSON WINS 2 REGIONAL TITLES
WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. - Addison Wilkinson of Cedar Rapids Somersaults Gymnastics won the vault and balance beam recently at the USGA Region 4 Xcel Championships.
She also placed second in the all round in the Xcel Silver division.
Other Somersaults winners were Bentley Rust (bars) and Emeri Hill (floor exercise) in Bronze and Carlie Sorg (vault) in Silver.
Top three placewinners were Carly Cronbaugh and Esti Bishop in Bronze, Maya Carrizales, Natalie Osterberg and Annie Haars in Silver, and Baylee Garbrielson and Logan Kalous in Gold.
