Sep. 30, 2009 1:49 pm
(AP) -- Iowa State officials say wide receiver Darius Reynolds has broken his leg in practice.
Reynolds, the Cyclones second-leading receiver, will be examined by a specialist on Wednesday to determine the extent of the injury he suffered Tuesday.
Reynolds, a junior-college transfer in his first season at Iowa State, has 13 receptions for 72 yards in four games.
The Cyclones (3-1) open Big 12 play on Saturday when they face Kansas State (2-2).
