No. 20 Iowa State beats Chicago State

Chelsea Poppens and Hallie Christofferson each scored 17 points to help No. 20 Iowa State beat Chicago State 62-48 on Sunday.

Kelsey Bolte added 12 points, moving her into 12th place all-time in scoring at Iowa State with 1,286 career points.

The victory was the Cyclones (11-2) fifth straight and 57th consecutive non-conference victory at home.

Iowa State led by seven at the half and never looked back.

The Cyclones held the Cougars, who averaged 69.8 points, to a season-low 48 points.

Courtney Waldon paced the Cougars (6-8) with 16 points.
