Iowa City West's Bauer commits to Iowa State

Iowa City West state finalist and former Ballard state champion Dakota Bauer has orally committed to wrestle at Iowa State University, Trojans Coach Mark Reiland said Tuesday.
Bauer posted a 41-5 record last season, reaching the Class 3A 130-pound finals. Bauer won the the 2A 112-pound title as a freshman in 2009 and placed seventh in 2A at 130 as a sophomore.
He owns a 127-10 career record with 54 pins and 28 technical falls.
